What a wonderful English week! 🎉
From the theater activity we take the opportunity (with some groups) to do a part of the classes in English and we played some theatrical games to improve our expressiveness with the body and the emotions.
First, to warm up we played a game called "This is a Ball". This game it's very easy but you have to think a little and express some emotions. How? To start we have to put ourselves in a circle and a student takes the ball. This student puts the ball in his hand, turns to the right and starts this dialogue:
'A' is the person who has the ball, 'B' is the partner who ask.
A- This is a ball.
B- What?
A- A ball.
B- What?
A- A ball.
B- Ah! A ball!
When 'B' said 'Ah! A Ball!' the 'A' gives the ball to 'B'. Then 'B' becomes 'A' and the new partner on the right is the new 'B'. Each time the dialogue must have two new emotions or movements with the body (one for 'A' and other for 'B').
Another game we've played this week is called:
"Silly Street"
This game helps us to work as a team, practice English, imitate animals and improve our physical expression.
It was an amazing game. We had a lot of fun!
With the other groups we were rehearsing the plays for June.
It looks like we're doing pretty good. On Tuesday and Thursday (with the 3rd and 6th groups) we saw the plays of their classmates and they made positive comments to improve the plays.
Great work artists! 👏👏
To finish, there you have a list with the titles of our theatre plays but in English:
Let's play some game:
1. Have you recognize yours?
2. Are you able to relate each video with the play it corresponds to?
⬇️
' The Puss in Boots'
'Fearless John'
' The Princess and the Beggar'
'21st Century Cinderella'
' Much Ado About Nothing'
'21st Century Cinderella'
'Matilda'
'Mary Poppins'
'The Tempest'
' A Midsummer Night's Dream '
'The Imaginary Invalid'
'The True Story of Little Red Riding Hood'
Good holidays little artists!
Health and theater! 🎉
